Who are we?
Bitter-Coffee Studio was established in late 2006 with a mission to create handcrafted websites which are not only beautiful but functional. Founded by 2 ladies, Iwani Khalid and Nadiah Sulaiman; Bitter-Coffee also aims to bring a refreshing revolution in the local website design and development scene.
Although our team is small, we are very enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about our work. We value quality over quantity. Each of us have our expertise and skills and we utilize them to create the best works for our clients. We also believe by being small, we can be more focused, discipline and dedicated towards our tasks.
Iwani Khalid – Project Manager
Is the voice of the company and our clients – responsible for success in each project to bring together client objectives and end-user needs. Also our very own XHTML and CSS princess. Very precise and highly disciplined – traits of a fab Project Manager. A singer songwriter off working hours. Mental note: Avoid karaoke sessions with her at any cost, you’ll never get your hands on the mic.
Nadiah Sulaiman – Creative Director
Is the eyes of our company. Whatever she sees through her eyes, she’ll portray them in utmost creativity onto screen or paper. Speaks in colour hex, sees in pixel and smells typography. Developed her skills in website design and adoration for typography over years of mutation and tempering. So obsessed in making sure Bitter-Coffee practices web standards. Off the web you might find her hunting down for mouth watering food or trying to stay fit with Billy Blank.
Rashidi Zin – Lead Developer
Is the magician of our company. With his wand and spells, he contributes a wider range of technical and programming skills to the team. A new addition to the company and fast becoming one of the industry’s finest! Never fails to come up with practical, clean and usable codes. He breathes PHP, Java and OOP. Off work, you’ll find him writing poetry and wooing girls with his poetic ammunition!
